Squash Apple Bake
Butternut squash and apple bake together with gentle sweetness and warm spice. Mara serves it when the table needs color and the oven is already earning its keep.

Ingredients
- 1 medium butternut squash, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch cubes
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut into thin wedges
- 1 tablespoon Splenda
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Stir together squash and apples together in a casserole dish. Stir together other ingredients and spoon over squash and apples and mix together.

Next, bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until tender. Next, if you like a crispier topping, take lid off casserole dish for last 10 minutes of cooking.
