Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon, and pantry herbs make a cool, tangy ranch that needs no mayonnaise. Mara allows the dressing half an hour to settle its arguments before supper.

Ingredients

  • 1 7-ounce container plain Greek yogurt, 2% to 5%
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk or water, optional

Directions

    Whisk the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.

    For a pourable dressing, whisk in milk or water 1 teaspoon at a time.

    Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

    Stir again and refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container for up to 5 days.
