Peanut Butter Cup Protein Shake

Powdered peanut butter brings familiar flavor without making the shake heavy. Peanut products may not be allowed in every liquid-stage plan, so check first.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder approved by your care team
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons powdered peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened low-fat milk or care-team-approved liquid
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder, optional
  • 5 ice cubes, optional

Directions

    Add the approved liquid, yogurt, protein powder, powdered peanut butter, and optional cocoa to a blender.

    Blend until completely smooth.

  3. 3

    Add the ice, if permitted, and blend again until no pieces remain.

  4. 4

    Divide into two small servings and follow your care team’s pace and volume guidance. Refrigerate the second serving promptly.
