Blueberry Lemon Protein Smoothie

Blueberry and a whisper of lemon zest make Mara’s lantern bright without added sugar. Berry skins and citrus may not suit every stage or stomach; follow your own care team’s plan.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder approved by your care team
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened blueberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened low-fat milk or care-team-approved liquid
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest, optional and only when tolerated

Directions

    Add the approved liquid, yogurt, protein powder, blueberries, and optional lemon zest to a blender.
